I experienced distinctive emotional stages in a day, from feeling frustrated, sobbing, tired, to pleased. I'm tired, very tired now even though I finally get approval for the project submission.
Thanks Lord! Praise Him! Thank you for answering my prayer!

A Successful Ph.D Student...
3 qualities of successful PhD students This blog article is worthwhile to read, the earlier, the better.
I'm engraving these three qualities in my head so that I can keep proceeding toward my destination: Perseverance, Tenacity, and Cogency.
In three days, I learned that two funding sources rejected my scholarship applications. It's cruel to a young scholar with passion like me. But at the same time I realize the need of being used to failures in applying grants and moving forward before getting my program done.
Unrelated to aforementioned comments, I'm not clear how this blogger learned that the marginal amount of time people throw around to become an expert of something is 10,000 hours. Even though the Google search shows some debates on this 10,000 rule I'm going to take it seriously. 10,000 hours = 27.4 years! I don't want to be that late in being an expert on writing or researcher on my late 50s! So, I start writing blogs and reading papers now. Hopes to cut the amount of years short for achieving the goal of being a good writer and reader!
Keep positive after failures and keep realistic during the process!
